Artisan

Inspired by Alvar Aalto’s Säynätsalo Town Hall, I mimicked his design of extruding a block from a solid shape. This allowed me to create a barrier between the main living space and the workshop for my artisan, a woodwind repairer. To connect the spaces, foliage, and paths made a connection between the spaces, preventing them from being truly separated.
